Dr. Hazwani Ahmad Yusof @ Hanafi was born in June 1985 in Kelantan, Malaysia. She received Bachelor of Science with Honors (Genetics) in August 2007 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and completed Master of Science (Sports Science) in August 2009 from Universiti Sains Malaysia. In 2016, she completed PhD through the Cotutelle program between Universiti Sains Malaysia and the University of Sydney, Australia where she was awarded with two PhD (Genomics, Cancer) from Universiti Sains Malaysia and PhD (Health Sciences) from the University of Sydney, Australia. She is currently a Senior Lecturer under the Lifestyle Science Cluster, Head of Clinical Exercise Service, Head of Clinical Exercise Science Master Program and Assistant Coordinator of Strategic Business Unit in the Advanced Medical and Dental Institute, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Dr. Hazwani has a passion for research related to sports science, sports genetics, physical activity, and health sciences.
