Prof. Dr. Fang Zhao is a professor at School of Physical Education of Nanning Normal University in China. She graduated with honors from Beijing Sport University in China, where she was awarded her Doctor’s Degree in 2002. Now she is a visiting scholar in SUNY Albany in United States from Nov.2014 by Chinese government funding. She will finish her research program on July 2017.

While studied for her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education at GuangXi Normal University in 1992, she was a member of college basketball team. She got a lot of teaching experience in basketball training as a coach assistant in senior. After graduation from college, she went to Capital Institute of Physical Education in Beijing, China for her Master’s degree in Physical Education. Because good grades , she became a lecture there for three year.

Dr. Zhao’s expertise and special interesting in Sports Ceremony of the Ethnic Minorities in West of China and the Comparison of the Sports Management between China and U.S., began in her teaching at GuangXi Normal University in 2002. From 2010 up to now, she is supported by China National Social Science Funding and Guangxi Province Social Science Funding, she has published 1 academic monograph and 3 teaching materials. Almost 60 papers appeared in academic journals.

As a Chinese scholar, Dr. Zhao looks forward to communication with other scholars who come from all over the world. She believes “Together Everyone Achieves More”!
